Application Introduction
With complex working environments, large scales of circuits, wide varieties of equipment, traditional medium-voltage distribution network (10kV ~ 35kV) plays a significant role in power transmission, requiring high reliability and stability to guarantee the safety. Compared with high-voltage transmission networks, medium-voltage distribution lines can be more widely applied in automation industries. The transmission lines can be divided into buried cables and overhead types. Overhead transmission line are more widely used in distribution networks and are more likely to meet accidents due to complex natural environment and inappropriate operations. In order to monitor the status of overhead lines, handle sudden failures and improve the efficiency of the power grids, FRTU(FTU)are utilized to collect data, record power consumption, control remotely, solve the faults on site and forward communications and etc, achieving automation and intellectualization of the distribution networks.
The power transmission networks work in complex environments and have large geographic span and wide equipment varieties involved. Moreover, devices on overhead lines are operated in a severe environment and difficult to maintain. In order to solve these problems, DF1725IED series products of FTU are designed with smaller size and weights, more functions, higher reliability and safety, better operability and lower costs.
Composition and features of system
Installation ways of DF1725IED can be flexibly adjusted according to the application environments. It can be fixed in a hanging box or built-in, adapting well to various natural conditions with high and low temperatures, high humidity and much dust. The device is highly universal, easy to install,run and maintain. Short-distance radio connection is optional for easier maintenance.
Operation
DF1725IED is compatible with general maintaining software. Maintenance staff can debug various devices from FRTU to RTU using standardized operational software.It can be repaired by maintaining the cables, remotely accessing the channels, maintaining locally and wirelessly. LCD panel is optional for data view and on-site operations instead of external PC and mobiles. Pole-mounted switches,circuit breakers and load switches of a variety of spring mechanisms and permanent magnetic actuators can be combined to the device.
